Rated 1 out of 5 by from I have no idea how to connect this thing. A drawing or diagram would have been minimal. Instructions are necessary. Even a youtube video would be great.

Can you guys please provide some sort of instructions on the best way to assemble this flexible discharge tube?

It is impossible to force the Threaded Slip Nut over the raised lip on the Flexible Discharge Tube. If anyone was successful, please let me know how. Thanks. Perry

Where can I get an OEM discharge boot with a clamp?

Asked by: CPSA
Hi CPSA, This is Jim with InSinkErator. If you are referring to the rubber boot at the discharge opening on the Evolution models disposers and the clamp, they can be purchased at our Authorized Parts Depot Carroll Parts. Their contact number is 800-654-3545. The part #'s you would need are the Flex Coupler Part# 75499 and the Installation Kit Part# 02610WJ (the kit contains the clamp, discharge tube, screws and the service wrench). I hope I have been able to help you today. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our AnswerLine at 800-558-5700. Thank you.

Evolution excel out of warranty with leaking flexible coupler

The flexible discharge tube shown above doesn't look like the failed connector on our model. After discussing with your support, I've ordered part number 75499 from Carroll parts. It looks like this should be an easy replacement. Is it something I can do? Are there instructions anywhere? Are any special tools required? I see a single bolt/screw above the coupler. Do I simply remove that? Note: your facility for uploading pictures doesn't seem to be working.
Asked by: grichar1
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator Customer Service. Replacing the Flex Coupler is very easy. No special tools are required only a properly sized flat head or Philips screw driver. When you receive the replacement part, all you need to do is remove the old Flex Coupler by taking off the bolt/screw. The replacement Flex Coupler will just slip into the same slot and is held in place by the lower tab and the bolt/screw at the top. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through [email protected] or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you.
