is there a lower profile flange, narrower to allow the unit to sit higher in the cabinet, I need the outlet to be higher for water due to drain height
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator Customer Service. We only have two types of InSinkErator sink flanges. The regular sink flange requires a 3 ½” sink opening and can accommodate ¾” thickness of sink. The extended sink flange requires the same sink opening and can accommodate 1 ¾” thickness of sink. If you have questions, you may send us an email through [email protected] or you may call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you.

How can I tighten the 3 screws of the quick lock sink mount. It is too tight around the base to use a flat screw driver?
Hello Sjoers This is Jim with InSinkErator. Are you trying to tighten the scews while the disposer is still mounted? If that is the case, you will need to remove the disposer before attempting to tighten the screws. How can I take the mount off an old sink to put it on a new sink?
I recently purchased a new sink and would like to place the quick mount system in this sink. However, I cannot get the mount off the old sink. How can you do this?
Hi dsav1722, Thank you for providing visuals of the current setup of your Quick Lock Mount. Based on this, you may start with the following steps below. 1. Using a flathead screwdriver, loosen the 3 screws on the mounting assembly. 2. Using a flathead screwdriver, pry off the snap ring. This will allow you to remove all the other parts of the Quick Lock Mount. 3. Remove the flange from the sink. 4. Remove old plumber’s putty from sink with putty knife. I have included a link below for the generic Installation, Care and Use Manual of our disposers. Kindly refer to steps 6, 7, 8, and 9 for the visuals of the steps above. http://images.insinkerator.com/pdf/badger5xp_icu.pdf.
