Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ridiculous price. Ridiculous price for a piece of plastic, but needed black. I expected metal.
Date published: 2015-12-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Significant improvement over the button covers that come with the switch. These button covers provide for different colors that can coordinate with different styles and colors of counter top and cabinetry. They are much better looking than the ones that come with the switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Air button decorator covers The replacement covers for the Insinkerator air button significantly improve the appearance of the covers that come in the button package. They look better and can be matched to different counter and cabinet combinations.
Date published: 2015-03-21
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install, works great! This was an additional purchase since the original buttons did not include the oil rubbed bronze finish. First time use of the push button activation and very pleased with the operation.

And if so, what size is the escutcheon for this? Does it have to be used if the 2" diameter is the only option?

Answer:
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator® Customer Service. The Sink Top switch is designed to be mounted vertically on a sink countertop. This is to ensure that the tube will not have bents that may affect the flow of air that activates the power module. The Sink Top cover that goes around the Sink Top switch button has an outer diameter of about 2". The cover/escutcheon has to be used to make sure that the button will not be disarranged. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through [email protected] or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you.

Is this the same button that comes with the single kit? or is it a better material quality? I dislike the plastic like buttons in the kit. I would like to find a higher grade metal switch.
