Separate the filter from the filter head bracket.
Mark hole locations for the filter head bracket. Make sure to mark the locations in a spot that allows for easy filter replacement in the future.
Drill 1/8" starter holes and attach the bracket to the wall with wood screws, turning until snug.
Insert the filter into the filter head bracket. The top of the filter should be flush with the bottom of the filter head bracket when fully engaged. Turn clockwise/right until it stops, about a quarter turn.
Determine the length of the tubing you need, then cut it to length. Make sure the cut is level, even and burr-free.
Insert a white 1/4" tube into the inlet side of the filter head until it stops. Press in again to ensure a secure fit.
Insert the other white 1/4" tub into the outlet side of the filter head until it stops. Again, press in once more to ensure it's secure.
Insert the copper tube(s) from the dispenser into the "Y" quick-connector using the plug for hot-only models.
Connect the white 1/4" tube from the right outlet on the filter head bracket into the quick-connect fitting until it stops. Make sure it's secure.
Connect the remaining white 1/4" tube to the incoming water supply line. Note: If you need to remove the tube(s) or plug from the quick-connector, depress the release ring and gently pull away.
