Rated 4 out of 5 by Jorge from Provides hot water "on demand!" The unit works well! Installation was a bit of a problem in respect to securing the faucet in place as the hardware to install the faucet was not adquate. Other than that, I am pretty happy with the product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by JOYL from Pleased Customer Very attractive, meets all my expectations. My only concern is the amount of heat the unit puts out under my cabinet. It is not excessive but more than my Kitchen Aid unit put out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Musician35 from Absolutely Indispensable We have been using an instant hot water dispenser for over 20 years. The insinkerator dispenser is particularly reliable; we only recently replaced our dispenser after about 10 years. The old unit itself was the replacement for our original unit. We prefer the version using the proper knob-style faucet, rather than the lever-style faucet. The dispenser is great for making cups of hot tea quickly, as well as for getting a head start on soups and stews! I would highly recommend everyone to get one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BHD1234 from Easy to Use Hot Water Dispenser Directions made it fairly easy to install. Only complaint is that the kit didn't include a very small (inexpensive) item to help connect unit to water line. I then had to make a special trip in the middle of the installation to get this part. Over-all very satisfied with the performance of this unit.

Will the faucet stay turned on if I let go of it such as when fillingl a large pot?
I read a review on Home Depot website that said the knob is very difficult to turn. Is this generally much of an issue ?
No...the handle is spring-loaded. It's only on as long as you hold it on.

We installed an Invite Contour dispenser yesterday and the unit constantly drips and every few minutes erupts into a spray of hot water all over.
Is this unit defective? Thank you
I had a different hot water dispenser that did this. It turns out that the temperature was set too high and the water in the unit was boiling creating steam pressure that caused venting through the tap. Try turning down the temperature on the unit and see if the problem disappears. The unit is designed to deliver hot water, not boiling water.

I have a "classic" model which is about 20 years old. Will the current contour or classic model fit the hole in my countertop?
Yes, we had an old one and the new one went right into the hole of the replaced one! NO problem!

I installed the Invite Conture hot water dispdeser and after two+ hours the water is only slightly warm.
I tested the power source and it is working. I flushed out the tank with three gallons of water prior to plugging in the tank. I also have since moved the temp dial to max without noticing any difference. I bought this at Lowe's today 9-23-2014. I had a older model that I replaced with this new one. I believe the unit is bad and I should return it to Lowe's for an exchange! What do you think?
Return it. Mine produced hot water right away.

Does this product require a disposable filter? I already have an undersink water filter connected to cold supply is this neccesary?
No, it does not require a filter.
