Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good unit works well Had to replace the previous one after 5 years of everyday use. Not sure why but water was not getting hot enough. May be due to internal scaling from hard water. Easy to install / replace. Water had a odor for the first week of so but it seemed to dissipate. Overall a good unit. Very handy to have. Definitely would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product We have had several hot water dispensers over the years. Handles broke, lots of maintenance required - so we really took out time researching for our latest dispenser. We love the chrome look of this one. The turn handle feels solid and is easy to use. We've only had it for a month but so far we've had no problems. This one is a little more expensive than other models but with the bigger tank and nice design, we think it's worth it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The product was good . My wife loves the new InSinkErator. During the installation the copper tubing was short about 6 inches. I added a section by cutting off the old hot water disposer and purchased a compressing fitting for the connection.

Answer:
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator® Customer Service. The faucet assembly that was previously used with an SST hot water tank can be used with the HWT hot water tank of the H-Contour-SS model. The fittings on top of these hot water tank models are the same and will accommodate the tubes from your existing F-H-View dispenser. If you need to replace the hot water tank only, you may consider the model HWT-F1000S hot water tank and filtration system. I have included the link below for your reference. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through [email protected] or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you.

Knob not a problem to turn, but does not stay on unless you hold it! Since it is very hot water, this is a good thing!

Answer:
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator® Customer Service. All of our Hot Water Dispensers (except for the H770, H-Contour-SS, and H-Classic-SS) are compliant with ADA standards; however, they are not certified due to the requirement for the faucet to run for 10 more seconds after releasing the handle which we cannot do with steaming hot water. The amount of force needed to turn our dispensers on is within the ADA's prescribed limits when the dispenser is properly installed. Regarding H-Contour-SS’ flow of water, the faucet will stop dispensing water once you release its handle. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through [email protected] or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you.

Answer:
Hi Elbelle,

We do not have available replacement parts for most of our hot water dispensers and hot water tanks. We have internally studied the feasibility of servicing the hot water unit. It is somewhat of a complex process which would be very difficult for the majority of our consumers and if not performed correctly, there is the risk of leaking issues. While you may be very capable of making repairs, the skill levels of the average consumer varies greatly.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through [email protected] or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jerica
