Rated 5 out of 5 by Valthewife from Can't live without it! This was a replacement for a previous unit. I use it often during the day. I enjoy a quick cup of tea or coffee with the instant hot water. It also hastens reheating leftovers with some hot water and a touch of of dry bouillon for taste.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wranglerman from Close installation. I wanted the one with a lever but it would not work with my sink. The sink has a close backboard. This one works well but it is a little hard to get my fingers between it and the backboard. It would be nice to be able to pull a handle to the side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mollie2 from Insinkerator This new one my husband just installed must be our third or fourth hot water dispensers. We can do without them. Eventually after years of use, they start to leak around the base or drip. So, time for a new one. I like the design of our new one and with my arthritic right hand, the knob design is must easier to turn than our older models. Loving the new Insinkerator!

Rated 3 out of 5 by WaterTap from Tastes like the plastic piping We purchased this model because of price. It has the same features (stainless tank, heating element, number of cups of hot water/hour) as the others available at Home Depot but if you want one that is not big and clunky they want $150 more! It can't possibly cost that much more for a more attractive tap so I am not sure what that is about. After settling on the look of it we have found that we are also settling on it's function. It heats the water well but after 2-3 months of use the water still has a slight plastic taste to it. I don't notice it anymore when I make tea but my husband does notice it in his coffee. We poured a cup of just water and let it cool then tried it and it was in fact the water (not the coffee) that tasted like plastic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Angie426 from Easy to use. The only down side was the water tasted metallic the first week but once it was used a while it tasted normal. Overall I am very pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TrueGrit1968 from Hot water when you want it - fast! InSinkErator is a name you can trust. This is my second one. It gets used frequently every day. We're busy people in the morning and this device makes life easier in not having to wait for the kettle to boil. Highly recommended.

Will the faucet stay turned on if I let go of it such as when fillingl a large pot?
I read a review on Home Depot website that said the knob is very difficult to turn. Is this generally much of an issue ?
No...the handle is spring-loaded. It's only on as long as you hold it on.

We installed an Invite Contour dispenser yesterday and the unit constantly drips and every few minutes erupts into a spray of hot water all over.
Is this unit defective? Thank you
I had a different hot water dispenser that did this. It turns out that the temperature was set too high and the water in the unit was boiling creating steam pressure that caused venting through the tap. Try turning down the temperature on the unit and see if the problem disappears. The unit is designed to deliver hot water, not boiling water.

I have a "classic" model which is about 20 years old. Will the current contour or classic model fit the hole in my countertop?
Yes, we had an old one and the new one went right into the hole of the replaced one! NO problem!

I installed the Invite Conture hot water dispdeser and after two+ hours the water is only slightly warm.
I tested the power source and it is working. I flushed out the tank with three gallons of water prior to plugging in the tank. I also have since moved the temp dial to max without noticing any difference. I bought this at Lowe's today 9-23-2014. I had a older model that I replaced with this new one. I believe the unit is bad and I should return it to Lowe's for an exchange! What do you think?
Return it. Mine produced hot water right away.

Does this product require a disposable filter? I already have an undersink water filter connected to cold supply is this neccesary?
No, it does not require a filter.
