Rated 4 out of 5 by from Our 3rd insinkerator hot water product. good but difficult installation Instalation of filter to unit was difficult. it kept leaking. Also I disassembled the old unit and found the internal tubing was the weak link. It lasted only 3 years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far, so good. This is my 4th InSinkErator. I love the ease of hot water, 1st thing in the morning, for my tea. I probably use it 4 - 5 times in a day. I have never had one for more than three years though. The tanks leak after awhile. I have to replace the bottom of my sink cabinet after this last one started to leak. I do wish that part could be improved.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Useful product We use this all the time. It provides water that is almost boiling. These have a usual life of several years, then they burn out, so I have purchased four over the years. The latest one is a little less satisfactory than previous ones, in that the water presure coming out the spigot is too low, but is not adjustable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't be without instant hot water This is our 3rd insinkerator. When we bought and remodeled our home in 1995, this was the one luxury I really wanted. I use it for everything that needs boiled water! Love it. But the life and depreciation of the insinkerator is about 7 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instant Hot Water is Awesome! This is our second purchase of an InSinkErator instant hot water faucet. Beautiful design. We wouldn't live without this product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice unit. The water heater was a bit challenging to install because of tight spaces under the kitchen sink. It heats water very quickly, but does rumble a bit while heating (yet quite tolerable). The quality is good and the faucet looks good.

Leaking from bottom of the unit

Can't tell exactly where leak is coming from but would like assistance in identifying and correcting the problem.
Asked by: DandY
Unfortunately this has been a recurring problem for me. If it is out of warranty you will need to replace the tank. Be sure keep a bucket underneath for the next time it starts leaking. You may also consider placing a leak detector alarm under the tank. They are fairly inexpensive and may notify you of the leak before serious damage occurs.

Do you sell replaccement parts for the H-Wave SS?

My plumber cut off the quick connect from the blue hose. Do you sell a replacement blue hose as it came originally in the box (with the quick connector installed)? Also, do you sell a replacement ferule and nut for the copper line, where it connects to my existing cold water? Thanks.
Asked by: Drymouth
Customer service will sell or replace the quick connect blue hose. Local hardware (or chain, or plumber supply) store sell the 3/8" ferrule and nut. suggest getting a spare set of the ferrule/nut, these are cheap and sometimes leak if not installed or tightened correctly.

My Involve H-Wave system did not get installed with a replaceable filter. Does it need one?

Asked by: DennisO
A filter helps keep debris out

Very slow dispensing hot water

I have a new H-wave and the water comes out very slowly it also drips a little while it heats up.
Asked by: Bj414
The water does not come out as fast as your main faucet but it should not come out too slow either and it should not drip

Does the new stainless steel tank mean it is compatable with a Kinetico RO system and we do not need additional filters?

Which finish is closest to Brizo stainless steel faucets?
Asked by: Reenierose
I would have to say brushed nickel
