SinkTop Switch - Dual Outlet is rated out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mickel01 from Easy of operation, installs quickly, and best of all works! Pros easy to plug install , if you have an outlet. Safe to operate in a wet sink. Can be located where you want it. It works and is durable. Cons: must have an existing electrical outlet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Plumber11 from Not recommended for the Hearing Impaired This device works well except the hearing impaired can't tell when it's on or off. They tend to accidentally leave it running since there isn't an indicator light and the unit runs so quietly. Which for normal hearing is great. Would like to be able to figure out a way for them to know when on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Whitetornado from Elegant accessory for the kitchen I have two sink top switches in my kitchen, one at the sink and one on an island sink. They are easy to operate and provide an elegant option instead of a standard wall switch to turn the disposer on and off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SMB1 from Clean and Easy to Use I was looking to install a hot water filtration system but only had an outlet for the disposer. This handy little device prevented me from calling an electrician. Easy upgrade!

Do you sell a longer tube?
the tube that goes through the granite is not long enough for my countertop. Is there a longer one available? If so, where can i get it?

How many amps this button allow?
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator Customer Service. The InSinkErator SinkTop Switch does not have any limit for the amps that it can accommodate. This will still depend on the main outlet where you would plug this unit. We suggest that you check the average amps of the disposer or hot water dispenser that you are going to use and make sure that the main outlet where you are going to plug the SinkTop switch can accommodate the amps of your unit. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us through [email protected] or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you.

mounting switch on counter top
How to I mount the switch on the counter top? Unlike the photograph of the product provided by the manufacture, the plug was connected to the wire and I don't want to break the casing removing it. How do I release the casing on the plug of the swithch assembly without breaking it? I need to disconnect the plug so I will be able to run the disconnect wire through the 1 1/4 inch hole drilled in my countertop to hold the swithch.
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator® Customer Service. The black plastic tube can be carefully pulled and disconnected from the transmitter body of the SinkTop Switch. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through [email protected] or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you.
