Rated 5 out of 5 by OttoCat from Replaced an existing 7 year old model. This is a better unit in terms of operation and appearance than the previous unit we had. The handle is easy to operate and we are very pleased with the performance of the unit. The temperature adjustment is easy and we are very satisfied with the unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tree1977 from I love having an Instant Hot Many people ask me why I don't just heat water in my microwave. I use my Instant Hot to ready super water for my humming birds, getting jello dissolved and of course hot tea throughout the day. It also gets soup ready faster than starting with cold water. I did not install my Instant Hot and it wasn't delivered I picked it up at the plumber Supply house

Rated 3 out of 5 by bankman from Performs as intended This is my 3rd instant hot water unit. While it performs similar to my most recent model, it appears to be constructed of lighter weight materials. The faucet handle appears to be very thin plastic. Due to my concerns of it breaking and/or malfunctioning, I kept the faucet from my previous model. If the new version breaks, I'm hoping I can use the old model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RichC from Convenient fun way to have great coffee and tea. Purchased the Invite Classic as part of new kitchen, counter and sink remodel. Deliberately chosen because of great results on three previous Classic models over fifteen years in two homes (and this remodel). Always hot, always convenient way of having the best tasting coffee and tea from hot (190 deg.) water. The Classic twist activated handle is also low profile, looks good and doesn't get in the way of other sink area activity. We didn't know how much we depend upon our instant hot water tap until we started using it years ago, and now won't do without it. The only negative was the old obsolete metal tank, but newer models are all rigid plastic; much better looking, with no corrosion problem and better capacity, more convenient installation. We don't have any negatives to report after fifteen years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by elad1231 from My wife enjoys having access to her near boiling water for various uses in Kitchen I was happy with the offer to get a discount for replacing the old InSinkErator. It was easy to install where old one was and is now working well and keeping my wife happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Oregonblossom from Perfect I love it and can't live without one ( well, wouldn't want too!). This is my second one. The first one lasted for years. I use it all the time - for a cup of soup, hot chocolate, etc. and also to soak dishes. Works great to get your water boiling on the stove quickly.

Unit is sputtering/spitting water when twisting delivery handle even with power disconnected. Is there any help available? Thank you
our old unit was doing that and we replaced it with a better stronger unit. Only the expensive ones work well.

How do you fix intermittent dripping from 1 yr old Classic Invite?
Dripping comes from the dispenser faucet. Sometimes it occurs after the unit has been turned off; other times, it occurs spontaneously. All solutions listed in the owner's manual for this problem have been tested by a plumber. None applies.
Is the hot water tank pressure too high from the element. Unplug the heater element and see if the leak stops.

i have a steam in hot 990w-3 in white would like to replace just dispenser
Hi Lyndurand, This is Jim with InSinkErator. We no longer carry that style of faucet. Our closest match to the 990W is the Classic or Contour faucets in our bundled kits which include a tank. We do have standalone faucets but unfortunately that style is not available as a stand alone. I hope I have been able to answer your question. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our AnswerLine at 800-558-5700. Thank you.

Our instant hot water heater has a very slow drip leak after each use, from the bottom of the unit.
Is it something we should repair, or, replace the whole unit? In other words, are these units repairable, or just replaceable? Does a general plumbing contractore repair these, if they are repairable?
Hello Rayklopp, I’m Jim from InSinkErator Customer Service. I’m very sorry to hear about your experience with our product. I’d like the opportunity to further discuss your issue.
