Rated 5 out of 5 by dalmer2362 from Hot Water at the Push of a Button Best new addition to our kitchen as it used to take 45 secs to get hot water at the facet. You can adjust the temperature higher than your 120 degF tap water to use as a source for "pre-heated" water in cooking. We have it set for 175 degF and works very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kay33 from I can't live without it! As a tea drinker, this instant water heater makes my life so easy! Filtered, hot water is always at hand. If you're done with microwaving one cup at a time, kettles on the cooktop, and electric kettles that constantly need refilling, this is the answer. It's the third one I've had (three different houses) but all have been installed professionally, so I can't speak to how easy or difficult it might be, or delivery time and customer service.. The newer model takes up less room under the sink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GEK65 from Great Product! The original hot water tap lasted over 30 years, raising two sons and countless cups of coffee and hot tea. Really like the faucet with this unit. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hen24 from Good looking and works well Becoming dependent upon it for hot water. Could use a drain plug at bottom of reservoir for long term non use. Very inconvenient and impractical to empty as suggested in instruction booklet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BunkyL from Love it. Love this hot water dispenser, has multiple uses. Use it daily. The only problem is the last two dispensers had problems with handles breaking just after warranty expires and no replacement parts available do to product discontinued. Had to buy complete new units, otherwise would have given 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by djgmd from Works and looks great We love it. I went to Lowes FIVE times to try to get line reduction plumbing hardware for our existing plumbing- which is up to code and nothing unusual ... once it was plumbed correctly it has been a delight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jetjock from Great product, but not very robust. I would have given five stars if not for two disturbing things. First is, the heaters tend to die after 4-6 years of use. Every one we have had starts to rumble and spit after that time. Contrary to what the company says, the water is not boiling, and there is no way I have found to stop it except to replace it. The second thing is the company is apparently no longer including in their new products, an essential part required for installation. This part is a plastic snap device that connects a hose to the heater. If I had not kept the old one from my previous heater, I would not have been able to install the new one. This piece does not appear to be a common piece that can be bought at Lowes or such.

Unit is sputtering/spitting water when twisting delivery handle even with power disconnected. Is there any help available? Thank you
our old unit was doing that and we replaced it with a better stronger unit. Only the expensive ones work well.

How do you fix intermittent dripping from 1 yr old Classic Invite?
Dripping comes from the dispenser faucet. Sometimes it occurs after the unit has been turned off; other times, it occurs spontaneously. All solutions listed in the owner's manual for this problem have been tested by a plumber. None applies.
Is the hot water tank pressure too high from the element. Unplug the heater element and see if the leak stops.

i have a steam in hot 990w-3 in white would like to replace just dispenser
Hi Lyndurand, This is Jim with InSinkErator. We no longer carry that style of faucet. Our closest match to the 990W is the Classic or Contour faucets in our bundled kits which include a tank. We do have standalone faucets but unfortunately that style is not available as a stand alone. I hope I have been able to answer your question. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our AnswerLine at 800-558-5700. Thank you.

Our instant hot water heater has a very slow drip leak after each use, from the bottom of the unit.
Is it something we should repair, or, replace the whole unit? In other words, are these units repairable, or just replaceable? Does a general plumbing contractore repair these, if they are repairable?
Hello Rayklopp, I’m Jim from InSinkErator Customer Service. I’m very sorry to hear about your experience with our product. I’d like the opportunity to further discuss your issue.
