Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's so quiet! We recently remodeled our kitchen and replaced our old InSinkErator disposal with a new one because of the quality of the product. The new one is so quiet! And it's quick to work! Our plumber recommended this product, and although I cannot comment on the ease of install, it must be great if he recommended it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quiet capable hum This 3/4 horsepower Insinkerator is even quieter that my previous 3/4 horsepower Insinkerator, a "333 Pro". It operates with a low, quiet, capable hum. While it handles all jobs well, it seems to take longer than my previous Insinkerator to process that last little bit. A plumber installed my unit, so I cannot accurately rate "Ease of installation."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beats the Sear product that I replaced! The Evolution Compact food disposer is the quietest I have ever heard when it was working. The installation was so easy that my 12 year old granddaughter was able to do with a little instruction from her Papa. I would recommend it if you need to replace the one you have now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from quiet running So far very happy. Installed 880 Evolution series by a plumber and got the larger model. So far very quiet compared to my old one and grinds up most everything very quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong and Quiet Recently installed in our new sink and very pleased. Very quiet operation, almost forgot it was on a few times. Strong motor and teeth that handles all of our needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed First off, not really sure what "Innovation" is regarding a garbage disposal. Our old one died and needed replacement. This one fit in a tight space, went on easily (very good instructions), and has been working well. I highly recommend this - I'd install one for my Parents, if they needed a new disposal - it's that good.

What is considered a Small Bone that is OK to put in the Evolution Compact?

Hi, It says in your guide that small bones is recommended for use in the Evolution compact. Would all parts of the chicken classify as a small bone (Thigh Bone, Leg Bone, etc?) What about bones from Pork Chops, or Lamb Chops or Lamb Racks? Pork Baby Back Ribs? I would like to grind bones but want to make sure that I don't put something in that could damage or clog the machine. Thanks
Asked by: Zao154
No bones. Only edibles. If they don,t jam your machine they will certainly dull the cutting blades over time. No ice cubes or egg shells. This advice was from my plumber. He has replaced machines not very old from misuse. Save yourself the trouble.
