Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good The demonstration in the Home Depot sounded only a little less noisy than the cheaper model but after installing it is a whole lot quieter than the one i replaced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy to put in. I needed to replace my garbage disposal that stopped working. I chose this one because it used the same fittings. So easy to put in. I have never done this before. Just read the directions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from quiet We remodeled our kitchen and even though our disposal was still in good working order, we replaced it with the Evolution compact unit. We are so glad we did for 2 reasons: it takes up a little less space under our sink & it is extremely more quiet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great so far Works great so far, but has only been in use for a couple weeks. The test of time will tell. Was installed easily by my plumber. I really like how quiet it is compared to my old 14 year old model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quiet and powerful This is so much better than the 1/2 hp ISE we had. i am not sure how long the old one was used as it was installed when we purchased the house. this one is whisper quiet and grinds things up very quickly. I do wish the power cord was a little longer, but i made it work. if you have 1/2 horse and looking to upgrade, this is the one to get.

What is considered a Small Bone that is OK to put in the Evolution Compact?

Hi, It says in your guide that small bones is recommended for use in the Evolution compact. Would all parts of the chicken classify as a small bone (Thigh Bone, Leg Bone, etc?) What about bones from Pork Chops, or Lamb Chops or Lamb Racks? Pork Baby Back Ribs? I would like to grind bones but want to make sure that I don't put something in that could damage or clog the machine. Thanks
Asked by: Zao154
No bones. Only edibles. If they don,t jam your machine they will certainly dull the cutting blades over time. No ice cubes or egg shells. This advice was from my plumber. He has replaced machines not very old from misuse. Save yourself the trouble.
