Rated 5 out of 5 by Leelou from Works terriffic. This disposal was very easy to install and works great. We are on a septic system and were hesitant to install one in our new kitchen. After reading the reviews and information about this disposal we decided to give it a try. It works really well and we are very pleased with this disposal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by maridellh from Septic Assist is a great feature We just installed the Evolution Septic Assist disposal and have only used it a few times. It is very quiet and seems to be doing a good job. We just remodeled our kitchen and did not have a disposal before now in this house. When we saw this one that was made to work with septic tanks, it seemed to be just what we were looking for. I'm very happy to have found it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ralph77 from Quiet and efficient disposal Installation was simple with detailed, clear instructions. Eco feature for septic tank appreciated. Disposal works very well with food scraps and normal kitchen rinse items. Have had it for 5 months and we are very pleased

Rated 4 out of 5 by AustinDIY from Great if you are on a septic system Installation and operation all as represented by mfgr. One caveat: this unit is heavy and setting it in place is a two person job. Unless you have grown a third appendage, don't bother to try the final placement alone. Once completed, you will be pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Haywood from Septic friendly I never thought we could have a disposal, our nearly 70 year old plumbing is a bit of a chore to keep up with, without one. Once I read a few reviews of this one I was sold. Early days, but it is performing as it should, and has made adding biological to the system, an automated task. One less chore, and a disposal as well. Holidays were always a clenched teeth affair, as guests, used to city living, rinsed their plates into the sink. Scolding didn't seem to help, and watching over them sort of goes against the whole guest thing. I would buy another, enough said

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChugALug from This is great for use with a Septic system. This was a great replacement disposal for a 12-year-old Kenmore disposal. It was extremely easy to install. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new garbage disposal. I love the septic assist.

Do you have to purchase the flange seperately, or does it come with the unit?
No, you have to buy it separately!

Why does the Bio-Charge bottle keep falling out?
Make sure the bottle tip has been turned and it will pop up. Then it should click securely to the unit.

Does the product come with an initial bottle of the septic assist liquid?
Just had local Lowes install my new Insinkerator this week and tonight, when the disposal wouldn't work (the pneumatic tube from the sink button had disconnected) I discovered there was no bottle of septic liquid attached. Should the unit have come with one?

friend has a brand new one of this model but didnt use it. Can I use it .. I don't have septic.
I don't have septic. I am on city but I need a new unit, would like to have that USA made Insinkerator .....Can I use this???
Sure you can but you don't need it. This unit has an enzyme tank that injects into the disposal to help septic systems. It is more expensive than a conventional unit.
