Indulge Contemporary Hot Only Faucet (FGN1100) Biscuit is rated out of 5 by 164.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Steve5539 from Very easy to install I installed this unit to update the look of countertop. I reused the heating tank unit and it connected perfectly and easily. The install of the faucet unit was very simpleusing the included long reach wrench.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2ATX from Recommend t his product We have used this product daily in our kitchen for the last 12 years, just having to replace it since the washer was weakening. The fact that we replaced the old with the exact same product speaks for itself. We like that we can set the temperature to the degree best for us. Also, we like that we have the option of level of pressure. Installation was not hard. We did it in a couple of hours from start to finish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ronaldl56 from Nice faucet My only complaint is we changed to granite counter tops and our old faucet threads were not long enough and the extension adapter was $20 so I bought the new faucet instead. Much better design for mounting, looks nicer than old black one, works nice. The help desk was very helpful and gave a good discount on purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Roy1 from Hole Size The size of the required hole is very confusing as presented in the sales literature and even on the exterior of the packaging. I discovered too late, after drilling a 1 1/4" hole, that the size is dependent on the thickness of the granite in my installation. Neither the wholesale salesmen or the reps new anything about this and only when reading the instructions is this explained. I had to get a different head to accommodate this situation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by buffalo770 from cost This is a good product (hot water dispenser), without the sale price, I'm not sure if I would have Purchased it. And the plumber you recommended charged me $192.50 for installation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by JC26 from Works when you fix the bugs The copper pipe was 6 inches too short so we had to remove the old one and sodder it on to the new water tank.. no one tells you tou have to buy the water tank separately. But when I called to complain about my one year old hot water heater, customer service was very nice, once I really pushed them. The oroblem is, there is very little competiition for Insinkarator. So they dont do a stellar job on quality control.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FelicityGarver from One minor thing I would change I like the looks and the function of this product, but it would be a little more functional if, instead of having the lever pull toward you for a low flow, and push away for a faster flow, toward you would be on while you are holding the lever, and away from you would be that the unit stays on by itself, so you could rinse off something without having to hold the lever. The difference between the low flow and the high flow is minimal, so a "burst" function and an "on" function would be better for me.

Is it absolutely necessary to use a filtration system with this faucet
If so, what model is required?
I do not have a filtration system hooked up to the Indulge Contemporary Hot Faucet. I have not encountered any problems.

Does this product have a child safety mechanism
I don't think so; however, ours is far enough back on the counter that my grandchildren can't reach it.

Granite & Undermount Cast Iron Sink
I have read that your granite cannot be bigger than 3". Another place said 2". I am using a standard granite. The sink will be undermount and is cast iron. Will it accomodate a cast iron sink and granite? If your answer is 3" does that include the granite and sink? Thank You.
The mounting screw is plenty long enough to reach through both.

Just replaced a leaking tank now the handle will not return to the closed position. This is our third insinkerator instant h2o
Handle became sluggish when used and released finally staying in the open position. Wife was using at the time water would not stop thankfully I was home to close valve. Just replaced the tank due to leakage. Company customer service was really good to work with on tank but now am not to happy about another expense and piecemeal repairs. Now handle is in the open position, loose, and will not return to closed.
Hi, I have had these instant hot water heaters for years. The model you have has had a LOT of problems. We had one too...we have one in our house (a different model) and one at our beach place (your model). The most trouble free model is this one, which we are installing at the beach shortly. We had it's predecessor and never had a problem out of it. Secret: Even the lady at Insinkerator told me the model below is their most "trouble free" model! InSinkErator Invite Classic™ Instant Hot Water Dispenser USD$ 343.00 ITEM IS AVAILABLE. ITEM # 44719 4.6 / 5 Personally, I wouldn't waste time or money on your model. If it's under warranty I would insist on an exchange. Good luck!
