Indulge Contemporary Hot Only Faucet (FGN1100) Biscuit is rated out of 5 by 197.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Jess18 from Looks nice but not great performance Nice style - sleek and modern. But after less than 3 years, it started sputtering and splashing, sometimes even dripping when not in use. Service tech said the dispenser was bad; replaced under warranty. After only a few weeks, however, the new one is doing the same thing. Previously I had a different model (H990) which didn't have these problems but replaced it with FGN1100 as part of a kitchen remodel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bleacherman from Very Nice faucet! Black Matte...not Chrome! This is our 2nd faucet....the first one lastest about 8 years before breaking internally. A week later the tank failed for the 3rd time but that is another story. All in all we love the syatem but it does fail regularly and is quite expensive to replace.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DoDad from Happy Spouse = Happy Me Our first one lasted far beyond the warranty so there was no hesitation to replace it. The replacement of the faucet was pretty simple for me as I had installed the first one. Follow the instructions and advice included in the box and you should be good for several years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Frustratedconsumer from This product isn't worth the money I have replaced this unit four times in 5 years. Now I buy the warranty and the company has replaced the unit for free, but I fail to understand why they continue to manufacture a shoddy product instead of fixing the issue. Customer service is great, but sending a new u it every few months should not be the answer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lazydays12 from This is a time saver. This is our 3rd Hot Water purchase. This is really quiet when water is heating up. Our last ones were really noisy. It's really handy for making tea. I feel this model was a little pricey but we like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BettinaB from It's HOT In SO Many Ways! I am SO glad that I got this product as part of my kitchen renovation! I will be selling all my teapots and electric kettles at the next community yard sale! I've always make coffee using a French press and now it takes no time at all to have the coffee ready. I use it for so many things - Just this past week we had a nor'easter storm and my friends lost all electric (and they live in an all electric house). I was able to easily bring them three huge pots of super hot water thanks to my new gizmo. Love, love, love it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Royston from Hot Water Dispenser Replacement Parts *** DO NO PURCHASE !!! *** Grossly over priced parts / components if you need them at some point... and, trust me, because of design you absolutely will. Faucet will not hold up beyond warranty period and then they expect you to purchase a replacement at several hundred dollars. Oh, they'll generously "give" you a 35% discount but the result is still $200 + for a part that should not cost more than $50 tops. At one time InsinkErator sold the faucet and hot water tank as a kit. Looks like today they want you to pay separately for the tank and then additionally purchase a faucet. Horrid business practices. I've purchased my last incinerator product of any kind. Think seriously before you go down they Rabbit Hole

Is it absolutely necessary to use a filtration system with this faucet
If so, what model is required?
I do not have a filtration system hooked up to the Indulge Contemporary Hot Faucet. I have not encountered any problems.

Does this product have a child safety mechanism
I don't think so; however, ours is far enough back on the counter that my grandchildren can't reach it.

Granite & Undermount Cast Iron Sink
I have read that your granite cannot be bigger than 3". Another place said 2". I am using a standard granite. The sink will be undermount and is cast iron. Will it accomodate a cast iron sink and granite? If your answer is 3" does that include the granite and sink? Thank You.
The mounting screw is plenty long enough to reach through both.

Just replaced a leaking tank now the handle will not return to the closed position. This is our third insinkerator instant h2o
Handle became sluggish when used and released finally staying in the open position. Wife was using at the time water would not stop thankfully I was home to close valve. Just replaced the tank due to leakage. Company customer service was really good to work with on tank but now am not to happy about another expense and piecemeal repairs. Now handle is in the open position, loose, and will not return to closed.
Hi, I have had these instant hot water heaters for years. The model you have has had a LOT of problems. We had one too...we have one in our house (a different model) and one at our beach place (your model). The most trouble free model is this one, which we are installing at the beach shortly. We had it's predecessor and never had a problem out of it. Secret: Even the lady at Insinkerator told me the model below is their most "trouble free" model! InSinkErator Invite Classic™ Instant Hot Water Dispenser USD$ 343.00 ITEM IS AVAILABLE. ITEM # 44719 4.6 / 5 Personally, I wouldn't waste time or money on your model. If it's under warranty I would insist on an exchange. Good luck!
