Reviews / Q&A
Will you make this available in yellow gold or French gold?
I love my old InSinkErator hot and cold beverage faucet but it has lived well beyond its life expectancy. I love the look of this contemporary faucet and goes well with my new kitchen faucet. However, all of my fixtures are in gold tone brass. Will you ever make this available in PVD gold or in French gold? It is becoming a popular finish trend again.
Hi LMax, Unfortunately, we do not have information if there are plans of making an F-HC3300 in French Gold finish. If you have questions, you may contact us through [email protected] or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you. Jerica InSinkErator Customer Service

How ? Cleaning spout filter on the HC3300. Does the end of spout unscrew?
Yes it does. Just unscrew and turn over and run water throw it. Solid end piece to.

Do you have to fully rotate the handle back for Hot Water?
Specifically, my handle hits the backsplash and only rotates about 2/3 of the way. Will I be able to get hot water to flow, but not just full force or does it have to be fully rotated back to initiate the hot water flow?
You can rotate the tap body, but have to get underneath to do it. The kitchen fitter sorted same problem out for me.

Is there a way to get both hot and cold water at the same time?
Some times I want hot water, some times I need scalding hot water, some times I must have boiling hot water. Does the F-HC3300SN give me the ability to mix the water delivery so that I can have water of a temperature that I might want at that moment? Another way of asking -- does this faucet work as a mixing valve.
No hot water comes out at 1 temperature that is set with dial on unit. You CANNOT Change temperature at faucet. No mixing valve.

Does the box say hot and cold water on it?
I've ordered this unit from Amazon and when it came the box for the Faucet only said hot water faucet, is this a different unit? I really wanted the hot and cold water functionality. I'v already submitted a return request as I'm in the middle of a kitchen remodel and I'd hate for the hot/cold water faucet to hold up the progress. Is there something I can tell my plumber to do to get it ready for the correct faucet? Do I need to buy a separate cold water filter system? Is there something I can download to diagram what the plumber needs to do?
If the model number is indeed the FHC3300, then it is both hot and cold. The "HC" in the model designation indicates it is both hot and cold. They make an identical unit that is only hot with only the "H" in the model name. The other way to tell is to look at the end of the faucet handle - if it has a red and blue colored end it is both hot and cold.
