Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaced an old one This product really works great. They don't lie when they say instant hot water. I was alittle disappointed that I couldn't reuse my old faucet when I had to replace the heater. But once I got all the old components off. The new unit went on like a dream. I did have to make one extra trip to the hardware store, due to the main water line splitter not having a 1/4"outlet for the water heater, but that's not insinkerators fault. So overall awesome purchase. Also I definitely recommend the cold capability also. It's convenient especially considering that the water is super hot coming out on the hot side.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bad features Y quick connect did not work with InsinkErator water filter. The line from the water filter is 3/8 inch and the Y quick connect is 1/4 inch. InSickErator needs to have both size Y connect with purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I liked my previous one better I thought I was ordering the same thing I had before. However, the handles are very different, & it's more difficult to see the red and blue spots on the top, distinguishing the hot from filtered options. The thing I most miss about my old dispenser,, though, is that the spout on this new one doesn't swivel. I don't know if it is supposed to, and the installation was done incorrectly, but if I try to turn the spout, it is not going to move. It was nice to be able to sit my cup or bowl on the counter next to the spout, turn the spout over the bowl or cup, and thus have one hand free while the other hand pressed the levers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is our 4th but This time copper line too short and we had to hire plumber. Arizona builders do not insulate hot water line and run them through concrete so hot water takes 5 minutes. We use our inSinkErator a lot for everything from making jello right from the tap to instant coffee. Using the small side of kitchen sink, we can get warm water to wash smaller load of dishes. Need longer copper line. Previous inSinkErators had about 4 more inches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Peasy Had to replace the same unit due to it spraying very hot water after each use. This made the replacement easy since everything was set up for the same size unit. New unit is working like a champ.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks nice, works well. The device looks nice and works well. Fairly easy to install. The only downside is there is no locking mechanism to keep the water flowing. You have to keep your hand on the lever the whole time when filling up a pot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Insinkerator We have used Insinkerator products for years. Everytime we move into a new home, we install an Hot Water Dispenser from Insinkerator. This last one was a bit more of a challenge, as our home was older and we needed a bypass switch for the electricity. Insinkerator to the rescue, they make an Air Switch, which took care of the issue. We did need a plumber for the installation.

why does the hot water dispenser squirt warm water from the top of the faucet while dispensing hot water.

This problem has been getting worse over the last few weeks. The unit is only about 4 years old and is otherwise functioning fine. We use it maybe one or twice a week so the unit is basically new. The squirting water is coming from two holes that are just above the main opening in the faucet.

What is the model of the cold water filtration system to go with the ISE-HC-View-SN?

We would like to add the cold water filtration to our hot/cold water dispenser (ISE HC-View SN-SS). Which one ties in?

HC-view leak repair

I have had an HC-View for nearly four years. The unit leaks water around the base of each handle. I presume that the o-rings are worn. Are these repllaceable and if yes are there instructions for doing so.
