Rated 5 out of 5 by Paul1949 from Dollor for dollar it's the best For a diy project it is the best , easy to install and everything you need comes with it. The instructions are very well written, easy to understand. Am a retired electrician NOT a number and had it installed in about an hour. Also it is so quiet I LOVE it

Rated 5 out of 5 by ysyardaz from Recognized name, recommended by friends A disposal is one of those home devices that you just don't think about until it stops working. And, while it wasn't an 'emergency' to have it replaced, it is vital to a smooth running kitchen. I asked a few people who had recently replaced their disposals or who were doing kitchen remodels and found Badger to be one of the preferred brands. I bought it, had a professional install it and it has worked great. A little noisy, but I'm assuming that's normal. My plumber did forget to remove the plug for allowing the dishwasher to drain, but that was an easy fix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by pauleshelman from Kept the design the same after decades for easy replacement! My old model of the same make and rating became a solid wall of corrosion inside after thirty years of service. I loved how your new product just drops in without having to re-plumb the drains.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Becky18 from Works well. This product works well and is quieter than my very old Badger that was installed before I bought this place; over 12 years ago.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anony from I've only run the disposal a couple of times so I can't do a proper review. Seems a bit fragile, not very robust. Makes heavy grinding sounds when I throw in even soft things like a 2" piece of cucumber. I end up having to chop up almost everything I put in, and I avoid putting in harder items. Seems the only stuff it will grind without whining about it are lettuce and leafy greens.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Wolly from Badger 100 ups and downs Starting with replacing the Badge 100, I would say it is very easy if you are not replacing all the stainless drain parts that go on the sink. The only thing which would make it easier is to have an electrical cord that plugs into the unit instead of having to rewire the old power wire to the new unit. The one I got looked like the center flange bolt had rust around it already, but it could be the sealant they use. I think that they could make it run smoother, but that probably has to do with what kind of material your sink is made of. All in all for the money it does the job if used according to the instructions.

the motor is running but the system is draining slowly and not completely, there does not appear to be any food jamming
Use a long celery stalk to see if the blades are actually turning. If they are not turning, the shaft is broken. Replacement required. If they are turning the out line is clogged probably at the goose neck. Pull the pipes and check.

Can I replace a Badger 1 with a Badger 100 directly with no reconfiguration?
