Rated 5 out of 5 by from This hot and cold water dispenser is the best yet. The installation of the hot and cold water dispenser is the easiest yet. I change the fittings that came with the unit to brass, but their fittings would have worked well. This unit is exactly what I wanted and it is working well The hot water is always there when needed

Rated 2 out of 5 by from HW dispenser handle failed The performance of filtration and hot water heater was good during the 3 1/2 years of use. The review was fair due to the failure of the HW dispenser handle after only 3 1/2 years (warranty is 3 years). Dispenser handle broke at the base. Product description uses the generic term "metal" as material. We plan to replace it with an insinkerator dispenser that is not part of a HW/CW dispenser system. The product description for the dispensers sold separately shows metal as brass, so my expectation is it will be a higher quality product than dispenser sold as part of a system. Dispenser system was installed by plumber as part of kitchen remodel so installation and delivery ratings are non-applicable and only shown because required.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How we missed our hot/cold water dispenser!!! In 2006, I won an Insinkerator essay contest for a kitchen makeover. (I know!! I still can't believe it!) We fell in love with our hot/cold water dispenser. Sadly, in 2008, my husband changed jobs and we moved to another city into a house without a dispenser. Although we kept saying we wanted to install one, with 5 kids, it was one of those things we never got around to. We moved again this summer, and renovated a home. The first thing we thought to add was our HC-View!! We had missed it so much. The funny thing about the story, though, is that after a month of use, I thought maybe Insinkerator was slipping, as the water sometimes tasted funny and chlorinated. I decided to check the filter this morning, and to my surprise, our plumber NEVER installed the filter!! I had not realized the filter didn't come in the box, and the plumber never asked me any questions, so in the heat of renovation, it was overlooked. But it looks like Insinkerator is still the tops in customer service. When I called to figure out if the filter came as part of the package or if it had to be purchased separately, the rep helped me out right away and even gave me an online coupon for 50% off! I'll be ordering that today, and I'm looking forward to better-tasting tea soon!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The hot and cold water has good flow and my family loves it! I installed the unit in about 20 minutes and both hot and cold water has good flow. I was surprised at how quiet the heating system is. I cannot hear the water being warned. My whole family loves this unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best hot and cold dispenser on the market. My earlier about 4 years old hot and cold dispenser from Insinkaerator broke itself failing to deliver the hot water but not cold water. Had to replace so I found the Insinkaerator dispenser to be still the best on the market since I did took the broken dispenser part apart and found very impressive of its quality parts and designed. So I still have a faith to buy it again hoping its will last longer with better quality than my earlier product. So my wife and I were very happy to use the new one for two months so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from hot and cold water dispenser Works great. My second one, last one lasted about 6 years. Since I had to answer the question about installation I gave it an excellent review but I didn't actually install it, my plumber did, so I can't really speak to the ease of the installation. Also, it wasn't delivered. I ordered it through Lowe's and they called me when it came in so I can't speak to the question of delivery time and customer service. But it's a great unit and works well for our household.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it , wish the cold water better Had I known that the cold water would be just tap water temperature, I wouldn't have paid the extra money for both taps.

Answer:
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator® Customer Service. The hot water tank that comes with the HC-Wave-SS has a heating cycle of approximately every two hours. A rumbling or gurgling sound is perfectly normal and is simply the tank adjusting to maintain its set temperature. This sound will occur periodically throughout the heating cycle. If you have further questions, you may contact us through [email protected] or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you.

Answer:
Hi mydogsrock,

All InSinkErator hot water dispensers do not include an internal filtration system. For our customers’ convenience and easy replacement, what we have are external filtration systems connected from the main water supply to the hot water dispenser’s faucet assembly. These are the F-1000S and F-2000S. I have included a link below for your reference.

The model Involve HC-Wave is a bundled faucet and hot water tank. The filtration system is sold separately.

F-1000S Water Filtration System:

F-2000S Water Filtration System:

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through [email protected] or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700.

Sincerely,

Jerica

Answer:
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator® Customer Service. There are no national standards regarding compatibility, therefore, we cannot make a claim regarding our products' compatibility with other filtration systems. We can neither recommend nor discourage the use of a RO System with our hot water dispensers. However, I can tell you that RO Systems can produce very low water flow rates so if you decide to use a RO System with our hot water dispenser, it is required that the RO System maintains a constant water pressure of 30 PSI. If it goes below 30 PSI, the faucet will drip. Additionally, you should be aware that RO Systems produce highly purified water which makes the water very "aggressive" which is why RO faucets are generally made of plastic. Our dispenser faucets are brass. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through [email protected] or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you.

Answer:
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator® Customer Service. The HC-Wave-SS faucet with hot water tank does not come with a filtration system. However, if this will be connected to an InSinkErator filtration system, then yes, the dispenser would dispense filtered hot and cool/cold water. I have included links below of the InSinkErator filtration systems that can be used with any InSinkErator hot water dispensers. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through [email protected] or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you.
