Rated 5 out of 5 by SueMac57 from InsinkErator We ordered one during a kitchen remodel, we love it, we also added a filter to it. Our contractors installed it so I am not sure about the ease of installation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by HardToUse from Design needs improvement This product delivers hot and cold water - filtered in our case because of a complementary system. However, the design of the faucet is poor. It is too short - and makes it very difficult to fill pots, pitchers and other like items, because they must be held while filling. In addition, the levers must be manually held open instead of having a self lock system so that when filling large items one doesn't have to stand there the entire time holding the lever open.

Rated 5 out of 5 by robuc1 from LOVE this Hot Water Dispenser This is the best addition to our kitchen ever. Simple to install, and a lifetime of instant almost boiling water for coffee and tea 24/7. What's not to love?

Rated 3 out of 5 by amarkow from Great product; tough to install I love the instant hot water and replaced an older one with this model (it's the "view", not the "wave."). But because it was a replacement I thought the installation would be a breeze. Not so. Because of change in the size of tubing from the older model, I had to modify connectors in order to use the filters I had ordered, which fit into the existing set-up under my sink. That turned out to be a bigger deal than I expected and ended up requiring the help of a plumber. I wish someone had explained to me that I was actually ordering the wrong filters for the newer model. It would have saved a lot of clean-up in addition to the cost of the plumber. Now that the unit is in and working I am delighted with its operation and the convenience of instant hot water.

How Long Does it take the Water tank to heat the water to 200 degrees.?
If I were to Leave the unit off, once I turn it on (rarely used outdoor Bathroom); 1) How many degrees/minute does it take to heat to 200 degrees?, 2) If outside temp. is 90 degrees, how long will it take the tank to heat to 200 degrees?, 3) If outside temp. is 72 degrees, , how long will it take the tank to heat to 200 degrees.?, 4) If Outside temp. is 45 degrees , how long will it take the tank to heat to 200 degrees? Regards, Joe H.
I think you can find that in its manual handbook as I have seen it before. It is very rapidly heating up (actually, it preheat inside the box before you turn the faucet on) so It came out extremely hot water within 1 to 2 seconds regardless the cold water temperature incoming from your house. Hope this helps.

With the View and Wave models, does the cold handle stay on until you take your hand off handle, or is it spring-loaded (like the older models)?
Ours does not.

Can I plug it into an automatic timer rated for 750 watts so it doesn't get power at night in order to be silent while sleeping?
